Los Angeles, April 7 - The decision to postpone the release of Dacoit to avoid a clash with Dhurandhar 2 is proving to be a wise move as Adivi Sesh's starrer has taken the North American box office by storm. The film is showing solid response in advance sales, hinting at a big start in the region.

The romantic action thriller was originally scheduled for a March 19 release, but the makers postponed it to April 10. The decision was lauded by trade, as Dhurandhar 2 has been dominating the box office like never before, and it would have badly impacted Dacoit.

North America Leads The Charge With $100K+ Pre-Sales

With the premiere now scheduled on April 9, Dacoit has already crossed $100K premiere in North America for the premiere alone. It has sold around 6000 tickets so far, showing strong momentum going into the final couple of days before the premiere begins.

Adivi Sesh has solid goodwill among the audiences, and the Decoit advance booking numbers are a testament to it. Despite the delayed release, the film has managed to attract audiences with solid promotional content and a growing fan base of the actor.
