Dhurandhar: Raw and Undekha Gets Streaming Release Date On Netflix And JioHotstar

Mumbai, May 21 - The first Dhurandhar is not done yet. After the record-breaking box office run and setting viewership records on Netflix, the extended and uncensored version of Aditya Dhar's directorial is set to stream on both Netflix and JioHotstar. On Thursday, both platforms announced that the Dhurandhar: Raw & Undekha version will start streaming on May 22 in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

The announcement quickly grabbed attention on social media, with fans expressing excitement over the alternate version. Many viewers had previously claimed that the earlier OTT release featured trimmed sequences and toned-down dialogues compared to the theatrical cut. The newly announced Raw & Undekha edition is expected to restore several of those moments while presenting the film in a grittier format.

Soon after the streaming date was revealed, confusion spread online as some users assumed the announcement was related to Dhurandhar: The Revenge. However, reports later clarified that the upcoming release is an alternate cut of the original Dhurandhar and not the sequel, which will begin streaming on JioHotstar on June 4, followed by Netflix on June 19.

The film, headlined by Ranveer Singh, emerged as one of the biggest action entertainers of the year and performed exceptionally across theatrical markets. With the extended version now arriving on OTT, viewers who wanted a more uncensored experience are expected to revisit the film once again. The dual-platform release on Netflix and JioHotstar is also likely to boost the film's digital reach significantly.
