Ustaad Bhagat Singh Dominates Single Screens, Gets Favourable Show Split In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, March 17 - The much-anticipated box office clash in the Telugu states is shaping up to be an intense battle as Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh goes head-to-head with Dhurandhar 2. With both films carrying solid buzz and targeting different audience segments, the competition is expected to draw significant footfall across key territories like Hyderabad, which remains a crucial market for theatrical performance.

As per the latest update, Ustaad Bhagat Singh has emerged as the clear frontrunner in terms of screen allocation and show distribution in Hyderabad, giving it a noticeable advantage going into release. It is said that Ustaad Bhagat Singh has secured 41 single screens, while Dhurandhar 2 will be playing in 16 single screens, and 5 single screens are set to screen both films in Hyderabad.

In total, Ustaad Bhagat Singh commands nearly 70% of the single-screen share, along with a favourable 60:40 show split likely in its favour in Multiplexs. On the multiplex front, around 55 properties, including major chains like Asian and Miraj, will be showcasing all major releases. However, despite equal presence, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is expected to dominate in terms of show count, thanks to its stronger demand and exhibitor preference.

The dominance in single screens gives Ustaad Bhagat Singh a significant edge, which was expected given its local flavour, particularly in mass-heavy regions where such theatres play a vital role in driving box office numbers. The favourable showcasing indicates strong confidence from exhibitors, which could translate into a powerful opening.

While Dhurandhar 2 may be trailing in terms of screen count, its presence in multiplexes and select single screens ensures that the clash remains alive, setting the stage for an exciting box office showdown in the Telugu states. Other than Telugu states, Dhurandhar 2 will be dominating screens all over the country. Both films are scheduled to release on March 19.
