Dhurandhar 2 Nears $1 Million Pre-Sales In Overseas As Wait For Trailer Continues

Mumbai, March 6 – The buzz around Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues to grow stronger as the film records impressive advance booking numbers in the overseas market even before the release of its much-awaited trailer. The spy action thriller, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, is tracking towards a massive pre-sales milestone with nearly two weeks still left for its worldwide release on March 19.

According to trade reports, the film has already generated strong momentum in North America, where advance bookings stand at around $500K for the opening day, including $300K+ for the premiere alone. With 13 days still left for the release, the film is on course to create a new day 1 record for a Bollywood title in North America.

Meanwhile, the total advance sales of Dhurandhar 2 have crossed $800K for the first weekend, and it will be topping the $1 million mark super soon. Interestingly, the trailer of the film is yet to be released, and trade is anticipating pre-sales to explode once the trailer drops online.

The booking momentum has also been boosted by the strong performance of the first film, which emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi cinema and built a massive fan following worldwide. With such expectations riding on the sequel, exhibitors across international markets have already started expanding show counts in anticipation of heavy demand.
