Mumbai, April 10 - Director Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its phenomenal box office run, delivering a massive third week at the domestic box office. The Ranveer Singh starrer has collected over 100 crore net in its third week (Hindi), maintaining its record-breaking momentum.

100+ Crore Net Third Week In Hindi

The film raked in approximately 104.50 crore net in its third week in Hindi, surpassing the third-week Hindi collections of Pushpa 2, which stood at 103 crore. However, despite this strong performance, it couldn't match the extraordinary third-week figure of its predecessor, Dhurandhar, which had amassed a staggering 172 crore net.

Unlike the first film, which witnessed exceptional growth driven by strong word of mouth, Dhurandhar 2 has been heavily frontloaded. The sequel opened to massive curiosity and hype, largely fueled by the legacy of the original film and strong audience anticipation.

With its consistent performance, the film has already crossed the 1000 crore mark across all versions and is now inching closer to achieving a historic milestone - 1000 crore net in Hindi alone. It has already amassed over 980 crore net, and will be opening this exclusive club this weekend.

How Far Dhurandhar 2 Can Go In Hindi?

Dhurandhar 2 has already sold over 3.50 crores tickets in Hindi and is around the first film's 3.70 crores lifetime admissions. While the trajectory of the sequel is slowing down as compared to the first film, it should still be able to hit 4 crore admissions in the original Hindi version, which keeps it on course to finish around 1100 crores net in the Hindi version alone.

The trade was expecting Dhurandhar 2 to finish its Hindi run at around 1200+ crores net, which might not be possible now, given the trend and new releases next week. Irrespective of where the film ends its theatrical run, it has already etched its name in history and created records which will be hard nut to crack for upcoming films. In the immediate future, Ramayana is coming later this year, which has the potential to beat Dhurandhar 2's numbers, which needs to be seen.
