Hyderabad, April 21 - The much-anticipated collaboration between Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel has officially been pushed ahead, with the makers locking in a new release date. The film, tentatively titled Dragon and currently referred to as NTRNeel, will now hit theatres worldwide on June 11, 2027, instead of its initially expected June 2026 release window.

While the delay may disappoint fans, it comes as no surprise given the film's ambitious scale. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the project is being mounted as a grand pan-India period action spectacle. With Prashanth Neel known for delivering visually intense blockbusters like KGF and Salaar, expectations from this collaboration are sky-high.

The delay is caused by the hurdles in shooting, and the majority of the shoot is still pending, and pending casting for the key roles. While the makers have pushed the film by a year, industry reports suggest that it might still be racing against time to meet the deadline due to the massive scale at which it is being made.
