Mahavatar Parshuram Release Date: Hombale Films Confirms Second Film in the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe With First Look Poster

Mumbai, April 19 - Following the ground-breaking success of Mahavatar Narsimha last year, Hombale Films, in association with Kaleem Productions, has intensified excitement around its ambitious animated Mahavatar Cinematic Universe by unveiling the first poster of Mahavatar Parshuram, with release confirmed for December 2027.

The first look poster, timed around Parshuram Jayanti, has instantly grabbed attention for its intense and larger-than-life presentation. The poster delivers a striking visual of Parshuram, showcasing him in the midst of a brutal battlefield. With a blood-soaked axe (parshu) in hand and warriors scattered in the background, the imagery emphasises the avatar's fierce persona and his role as a warrior sage.

The tagline, When Dharma Falls, The Parshu Rises, sets the tone for a story rooted in vengeance, justice, and divine duty. Known as the warrior sage, Parshuram's story is rooted in themes of justice, rage, and righteousness, and the film promises to bring this powerful narrative to life on a grand cinematic scale with cutting-edge visuals.

Mahavatar Parshuram serves as the second instalment in the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, a long-term franchise planned by Hombale Films that explores the different avatars of Vishnu. The universe kicked off with Mahavatar Narsimha in 2025, followed by Parshuram's story, with multiple films already mapped out for the coming decade.
