The film has now become the highest-grossing film of Suriya's career with its Monday collection so far.

According to early trends, Karuppu is heading towards grossing a minimum 15+ crore worldwide on Day 4, which will take its total global collection beyond the 135 crore mark in just four days. The film has maintained excellent momentum despite entering the weekday phase after a massive weekend, reflecting its strong acceptance among audiences.

What has surprised the trade the most is the extraordinary hold in India. The movie is showing a drop of less than 40% from Friday, which is considered exceptional for a star-led Tamil commercial entertainer after such a huge opening.
