Mumbai, April 9 - Dhanush and Kriti Sanon are reportedly set to reunite once again with filmmaker Aanand L Rai, following the success of romantic drama Tere Ishq Mein last year. The trio is reportedly discussing a big-budget period romantic drama film, which is currently in early development.

Reunion After Tere Ishk Mein

Following their collaboration in Tere Ishk Mein, the trio of Dhanush, Kriti Sanon, and Aanand L Rai has become one of the most talked-about actor-director combinations. Their previous film marked Rai and Dhanush's reunion after Raanjhanaa and continued their streak of emotionally intense storytelling.

According to Pinkvilla, the director is keen on bringing the duo back together for another project, which is said to be a period love story. The makers are currently in talks as the writing work is in full swing. Both Dhanush and Kriti Sanon have responded positively to the script, and if all goes well, the film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.

Madhubala Biopic In The Making

It is one of the projects which has been in the news for quite some time now. Recently, it was reportedly that Kiara Advani was roped in to play Madhubala, but things seem to have changed pretty quickly. As per Pinkvilla, Dhurandhar breakout star Sara Arjun, who has been making waves with her performance in the film, has been assigned to play the legendary actress.

The young actress has reportedly been locked to play Madhubala, to be directed by Darlings fame Jasmeet K Reen and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film, which is currently in pre-production, is expected to go on floors later this year and promises to be an ambitious cinematic experience rooted in the golden era of Hindi cinema.
