Mumbai, April 25 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla is all set to cross the 100 crore net mark in India, emerging as another Bollywood success of 2026. After a strong first week, the horror-comedy kicked off the second weekend with a solid hold by collecting around 5.75 crores net on Friday.

100 Crore Net In 9 Days

Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla has reached around 90 crores net in 8 days and will be entering the 100 crores club by the end of today. The film will be eyeing around 10+ crores net on Saturday, which takes it past the hundred crores mark.

Bhooth Bangla showed impressive growth from its opening weekend, where it registered a solid jump after a decent start. By Day 7, it had already reached the 84.50 crore mark domestically, and continued momentum over the second weekend helped it comfortably cross the 100 crore net mark.

Akshay Kumar's 20th 100 Crore Net Grosser

Bhooth Bangla is the third Bollywood movie of 2026 to reach the hundred crore mark after Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2. For Akshay Kumar, this marks his sixth 100 crores net grosser in the post-pandemic era, and more importantly, it is the actor's 20th film in this prestigious club, the highest number of films for any Indian actor.

Despite competition from Dhurandhar 2 and external factors like the ongoing IPL season, the film maintained consistent footfalls, especially among family audiences. Its blend of horror and comedy, along with a familiar cast including Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav, played a key role in sustaining box office traction.
