Mumbai, May 13 - James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash is finally heading to OTT after a long theatrical run across the globe. The sci-fi epic, which emerged as one of the biggest worldwide blockbusters of 2025, has locked its Disney+ streaming premiere for June 24, 2026. The film will be available to stream on JioHotstar in India.

Avatar 3 To Stream On Disney+ On June 24

Disney officially announced the streaming release window during its Upfront presentation in New York. The move to streaming follows over 6-months of theatrical window after the film's release on December 19, 2025. The film had previously arrived on premium video-on-demand platforms on March 31, allowing audiences to rent or purchase it digitally before its subscription streaming debut. Physical 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions are also scheduled to release on May 19.

Directed by James Cameron, Avatar: Fire and Ash continued the story of Jake Sully and Neytiri while introducing the dangerous Ash People clan on Pandora. The film once again pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling and spectacle, receiving praise for its groundbreaking visuals, emotional scale, and immersive world-building.
