Mumbai, March 6 - The wait for the trailer of the most-anticipated Indian movie at the moment, Dhurandhar 2, is about to end after makers officially confirmed the trailer will release on March 7, just two weeks ahead of the worldwide theatrical release.

The buzz for Aditya Dhar's directorial is second to none, with sky-high expectations among the trade. As the momentum continues to build for the grand theatrical release, it is now revealed that the makers are set to have paid previews on March 18.

In anticipation that the movie will take a historic start at the ticket window, it is said that the team is planning an aggressive start at the box office with paid preview shows scheduled to begin on March 18 from 5 PM onwards in India, according to Pinkvilla.

As reported earlier, the advance bookings for the film will commence immediately after the trailer launch, which itself is remarkable as pre-sales for Bollywood films normally kick off just a few days or max a week before the release date. The strategy is aimed at capitalising on the massive buzz surrounding the sequel.

The decision to hold paid previews a day before the official release is seen as a move to maximise the opening momentum and create a strong word-of-mouth ahead of the nationwide rollout on March 19. The paid previews are not a regular thing anymore in Bollywood, as only selected films have this luxury in recent times, and Dhurandhar seems to be one of them.
