As the war drama continues its good performance, Sunny's next theatrical outing will be Gabru, and the release date for the same has been locked.

According to the report by Variety India, the emotional drama will arrive in cinemas on May 8, 2026. Directed by Shashank Udapurkar, Gabru is touted to be Sunny Deol's most emotional film yet. It presents Deol in a powerful and emotionally resonant role that celebrates strength, spirit and rooted storytelling.

Sunny recently revealed that Gabru is very close to him. It is not just another project, but a story that resonates with him on a deeply personal level. The film reflects themes of courage, identity, and resilience, elements that have always defined his cinematic journey.
