Mumbai, March 2 – The buzz around director Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is reaching fever pitch ahead of its worldwide theatrical release. Riding on the all-time blockbuster success of the first part, the sequel is being projected as a potential history-maker for Indian cinema, despite reports suggesting it will be the longest Indian film in recent times.

With anticipation continuing to rise, the makers are all set to unveil the trailer this week. Reports suggest that the trailer launch will take place at the iconic Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), signalling the start of an aggressive promotional campaign. Interestingly, trade circles believe the film's scale and hype are strong enough to pull audiences even without extensive promotions.

Meanwhile, as per the reports, the makers are looking to open the advance booking two weeks before the release date. It is no hidden secret that pre-sales of the movie are expected to be among the biggest for an Indian title, and the makers are aiming to cash in on the big opportunity by putting the tickets on sale much before the release date.

Normally, pre-sales for an Indian title get opened a couple of days or a week before the theatrical release, but here, Dhurandhar 2 is looking to set an example for high-profile releases. However, there is no official update yet regarding the pre-sales, but it can be confirmed with the trailer.

Headlined by Ranveer Singh alongside Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Danish Pondar, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles, the film is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is slated for a pan-Indian release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada on March 19, where it will clash with Toxic, headlined by Yash, on the same day.
