Anil Kapoor Turned Down Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2: Here Is Why

Mumbai, March 14 - Veteran actor Anil Kapoor revealed that he was approached for a special cameo in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the much-awaited sequel directed by Aditya Dhar. However, the actor had to decline the offer due to prior commitments, despite being interested in the project.

According to recent reports, Kapoor was offered a brief but impactful appearance in the spy action thriller. The actor later revealed that he would have loved to collaborate with Dhar, but he had already committed his dates to another filmmaker and did not want to disrupt those plans.

Kapoor also admitted that turning down the cameo was "his loss," as he was intrigued by the film and its team. While the exact character he was supposed to play has not been officially confirmed, some industry chatter suggested the cameo might have been linked to a powerful character rumoured to appear in the sequel.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role alongside Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The film serves as the sequel to the blockbuster Dhurandhar and has generated massive buzz ahead of its theatrical release.
