Allu Arjun and Atlee's Film To Release In Summer of 2027?

Hyderabad, February 18 - The much-anticipated collaboration between superstar Allu Arjun and blockbuster director Atlee is shaping up to be one of the biggest pan-India releases in the coming years. The sci-fi action drama is being made on a massive budget of around 600 crores with cutting-edge technology.

This high-budget project, tentatively referred to as AA22xA6, is said to be mounted on a massive scale and is backed by Sun Pictures. The film reportedly blends action with a strong emotional core and is expected to feature cutting-edge visuals, making it one of the most ambitious ventures in Allu Arjun’s career. Given the scale, a long production timeline has always been on the cards.

According to the reports, the makers are targeting summer 2027 to release the blockbuster, although an official release date has not been announced. Reports suggest that extensive VFX work and detailed post-production requirements are the primary reasons behind the projected 2027 release. Atlee, known for delivering visually grand entertainers, is believed to be taking extra time to ensure the film meets international standards.

This has pushed the release beyond earlier expectations of a late 2026 arrival. The movie features an ensemble cast, including Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu and Jim Sarbh, among others. While the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the release window, summer 2027 is currently seen as the most likely target, positioning the film as a potential box office juggernaut during the peak holiday season.
