AA25: Allu Arjun's Landmark 25th Film To Be Directed by Basil Joseph

Hyderabad, March 31 - Superstar Allu Arjun has been busy with director Atlee's sci-fi actioner, called AA22xA6. It is touted to be the most ambitious film in the actor's career, and the buzz is high for the same. The makers are gearing up for a special glimpse on the actor's birthday on April 8.

While Allu Arjun's full focus has been on Atlee's directorial, the actor is quietly locking his next set of films. Recently, he officially announced his long-awaited collaboration with director Lokesh Kangaraj, which is going to be his 23rd film, and his 24th film is reportedly with Trivikram.

Over the last few months, there have been reports that Pushpa star has been in talks with Malayalam actor-director Basil Joseph for his landmark 25th project. Now, as per the latest development, the duo is indeed teaming up for a special Pan-India film.

Allu Arjun commands a massive fan following across the country, including Kerala, where he is famous as Mallu Arjun. His film with Basil is said to have created excitement among the involved parties, and of course, the fans. While official confirmation is still pending, AA25 is being backed by AA's home banner, Geetha Arts. If all goes well, the shoot may start sometimes next year.

Allu Arjun's last film was Pushpa 2: The Rule, which was released in December 2024. It was a massive blockbuster, especially in Hindi, with over 800 crores net. The action drama is currently the third-highest-grossing Indian film at the worldwide box office with 1742 crores. His next with Atlee will be released in the summer of 2027.
